Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Furniture Designer role based in Faridabad.

The Furniture

Designer will develop concepts and detailed designs for commercial and residential furniture, translating project requirements into functional, aesthetic, and manufacturable products. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating CAD drawings and 3D models, preparing technical specifications, collaborating with production and carpentry teams, and ensuring designs align with KFML’s sustainability and quality standards.



The role involves working closely with clients, interior designers, and sales teams to refine design proposals, select materials and finishes, and support prototypes and product testing.

The Furniture

Designer will also contribute to continuous improvement in design processes, documentation, and design libraries to support efficient, scalable manufacturing.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in Furniture Design and Product Design, with the ability to create functional, manufacturable, and aesthetically strong concepts.
- Hands-on understanding of Furniture and Carpentry to bridge design intent with practical construction and material use.
- Familiarity with Interior Design principles to ensure furniture integrates well within diverse spatial and brand contexts.
- Strong skills in SolidWorks, SketchUp, CAD and 3D modeling software and technical drawing.
- Knowledge of sustainable materials, manufacturing processes, and ergonomics in furniture design.
- Diploma or degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Furniture Design, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Ability to work on-site in Faridabad, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Prior experience in commercial or residential furniture design, especially in a manufacturing setting, is an advantage.
