DesignGrit Studio

Mumbai

Hello!

Are you a Mechanical Engineer with a strong understanding of plastics, product engineering, and manufacturing processes?

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Plastics Mechanical Engineer who can bridge the gap between creative product design and engineering execution.

At DesignGrit Studio, we are an innovation-driven design studio working across diverse product categories. Our approach combines creative thinking, functional design, and engineering precision to develop meaningful, high-quality products.

The ideal candidate should be able to understand design intent, interpret product functionality, translate complex forms into practical engineering solutions, and develop accurate CAD models ready for prototyping and manufacturing.

You will work closely with our design and development team, transforming initial concepts, sketches, and design references into detailed engineering models. A robust understanding of plastic materials, moulding processes, mechanical components, and manufacturing constraints is essential.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, collaborative, technically sound, and confident in identifying design challenges, evaluating structural integrity, and proposing effective engineering solutions throughout the product development process.
