Role Description As a Freelance Editor, you will work on a contract basis to refine and polish a range of marketing and creative materials produced by Lions Riyadh and its partners. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing written content for clarity, coherence, and consistency, correcting grammar and syntax, and ensuring adherence to brand voice and style guidelines. You will collaborate with writers, marketers, and creative teams to improve structure, flow, and impact, while meeting agreed deadlines and quality standards.

This is an on-site role located in the Greater Kolkata Area, requiring close coordination with local stakeholders and occasional participation in meetings or review sessions.

Qualifications

- Strong editing and proofreading skills, with the ability to improve clarity, tone, and structure across marketing and creative content.
- Experience in content development or copyediting for advertising, branding,



or marketing communications.
- Excellent command of written English, including grammar, punctuation, and style, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to interpret and apply brand guidelines and editorial standards consistently across multiple projects.
- Comfort working on a contract basis, managing deadlines, and handling multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills to work with writers, designers, and marketing teams in office.
- Previous work with creative agencies, media organizations, or marketing teams is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent skilled experience.
