Role Description As a Finishing Carpenter at Finecut Finishing Carpenter, you will perform detailed interior and exterior finishing work such as installing trim, moldings, doors, windows, cabinetry, and other custom wood components. You will interpret drawings and measurements, prepare work areas, and ensure all installations meet quality, safety, and building standards. Daily tasks include using a range of hand and power tools, checking materials for defects, and completing repairs or adjustments as needed.

You will coordinate with site supervisors, other trades,



and clients to maintain project timelines and resolve on-site issues promptly. This is a full-time, in office role based in Koderma.

Qualifications

- Solid skills in general Carpentry and Finish Carpentry, with experience in detailed trim work, cabinetry, and interior installations.
- Proficiency in using Hand Tools such as chisels, planes, saws, and measuring instruments safely and accurately.
- Ability to operate Power Tools including drills, saws, sanders, and nailers, following all safety procedures.
- Experience with Framing and basic structural work to support finishing installations when required.
- Knowledge of construction safety practices and ability to follow site regulations and guidelines.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements with strong attention to detail.
- Good physical stamina, manual dexterity, and capability to work on-site for extended periods.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with supervisors, trades, and clients.
- Previous experience as a finishing carpenter or related role; formal carpentry training or apprenticeship is an asset.
