About Us

PubScale helps mobile publishers monetise and grow through its Offerwall, AdX and user acquisition products.

We are looking for an experienced management reporting specialist who can turn raw business data into clear, timely and reliable management information. You will own MIS, budgeting and performance analysis across our business verticals, build the processes that bring data in from each vertical on a regular cadence, and work in collaboration with the Finance Team. You will work closely with the Head of Finance, Management and heads of each vertical, and your work will directly inform management, pricing, investment and operating decisions.

Key Responsibilities

MIS and reporting

- Prepare and publish the monthly MIS pack for management: P&L;, balance sheet and cash flow summaries, key metrics and commentary on what is driving the numbers. This would also involve fetching numbers from the various product dashboards and estimating the unbilled numbers to come up with real-time management reports on MIS.
- Maintain consolidated MIS across our group entities, including our wholly owned subsidiaries in Singapore and the US, and make sure it reconciles to the books of account.
- Produce periodic dashboards and reports for the leadership team and for the board and investors, as required.

Data collection and process design

- Set up and own standard processes, templates and timelines for collecting financial and operational data from each business vertical.




- Work with business, product and engineering teams to get reliable data sources, and move reporting from manual spreadsheets towards automated, repeatable workflows.
- Define data ownership, sign-off and cut-off rules so that figures reported to management are consistent and auditable.

Analysis

- Carry out vertical-wise profitability and performance analysis, including revenue, gross and net margins, cost of revenue, marketing, server and employee costs, working capital and return metrics.
- Prepare monthly trend analysis and identify patterns, anomalies and early warning signals for the Head of Finance and vertical heads.
- Perform variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior periods, with clear explanations of causes and recommended actions.

Budgeting and forecasting

- Lead the annual budget cycle and periodic re-forecasts in coordination with management, vertical heads and the Head of Finance.
- Build and maintain financial models for planning, scenario analysis and new initiatives.
- Track budget utilisation through the year and flag overruns or shortfalls early.

Business partnering

- Act as the finance point of contact for vertical heads, challenging assumptions and supporting decisions on pricing, investment and cost.
- Support ad hoc analysis for the leadership team, including fundraising and other corporate actions, where required.

Collaboration and controls





- Work alongside the Finance team, building on the existing processes and agreeing clear ownership of MIS, analysis, budgeting and data collection.
- Share templates, methods and valuable practices in collaboration with the team to achieve improvement in the quality and speed of execution.
- Work with the accounting, tax and compliance teams so that MIS and statutory numbers agree, and support audit requests.
- Maintain documentation of processes, models and definitions so that the work does not depend on any one person.

Qualifications And Experience

- Chartered Accountant, or MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution, or CFA with strong FP&A; exposure.
- Team player with 5-7 years of experience in management reporting, MIS, FP&A; or business finance.
- Strong working knowledge of Ind AS and management accounting.
- Advanced Excel, Google Sheets,PowerPoint and strong financial modelling skills.
- Familiarity with accounting software - Zoho and QuickBooks.
- Experience in the ad-tech industry is a plus. Experience in other technology or high-growth, multi-vertical businesses is also valued.

- Experience handling reporting for India, Singapore and US, including multi-currency and intercompany reporting across entities.
