Role Description The Field Services Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, responsible for installation, commissioning, and maintenance of diagnostic equipment and instruments at customer locations. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine and preventive maintenance, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, and providing timely technical support to healthcare laboratories and diagnostic centers. The role involves conducting equipment demonstrations, training end users on proper operation and basic upkeep, and ensuring adherence to company service standards.

The Field Services





Engineer will collaborate closely with internal teams and distribution partners to coordinate service activities, maintain accurate service documentation, and support customer satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications

- Strong field service capabilities, including hands-on experience with installation, commissioning, and on-site support for diagnostic or biomedical equipment.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and technical support, with the ability to diagnose hardware and software issues and implement effective solutions.
- Experience performing preventive maintenance and basic repairs to ensure equipment reliability, calibration accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent customer service skills, including clear communication, professional conduct at client sites, and responsiveness to service requests.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related technical field.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation; familiarity with safety and quality standards in diagnostics.
- Willingness to travel within the region for in office visits and flexibility to manage field schedules and priorities.
- Prior experience in IVD, medical devices, or laboratory equipment servicing is an advantage.
