Role Description This is a full-time, in office Estimation and Costing Engineer role based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area. The role involves preparing detailed BOQs and cost estimates for electrical and energy projects, analyzing technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents, and coordinating with design and project teams to validate quantities and pricing. The Estimation and Costing Engineer will compare vendor quotations, support negotiations, and assist in optimizing project cost without compromising quality or safety.





The position also includes conducting market and technical research, preparing bid documentation, and providing cost-related inputs during project planning and execution. The engineer will collaborate with internal stakeholders to track actual costs versus estimates and recommend improvements in estimation processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in BOQ preparation and project estimation for electrical and related infrastructure projects.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Civil Engineering or related engineering disciplines to interpret drawings and project specifications.
- Candidates should possess solid negotiation skills for vendor management, pricing discussions, and contract terms.
- Candidates should possess research skills to analyze market rates, technical options, and cost benchmarks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in estimation and costing for EPC, electrical contracting, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and relevant estimation software, along with strong analytical and numerical abilities.
- Ability to work on-site with project teams, manage deadlines, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
