Role Description The Embedded System Engineer and PCB Designer will design, develop, and maintain embedded hardware and software systems used in sensing, IoT, and geospatial applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include architecting embedded solutions, designing PCBs, selecting electronic components, and integrating sensors and communication modules. The role involves developing and testing embedded software, troubleshooting system-level issues, and optimizing designs for performance, reliability, and manufacturability.





The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate application requirements into robust hardware-software solutions and prepare documentation for design reviews and production. This is a full-time, on-site role based in IIT-Delhi, Hauz Khas.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in embedded software and software development, including experience with microcontrollers, firmware, and low-level programming.
- Candidates should possess solid foundations in electrical engineering and electronics for circuit design, component selection, and hardware integration.
- Candidates should possess relevant experience in Internet of Things (IoT) systems, including device connectivity, sensor integration, and edge computing.
- Candidates should possess PCB design skills, including schematic capture, layout, EMI/EMC considerations, and design for manufacturing (DFM).
- Beneficial qualifications include proficiency with industry-standard EDA tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad, OrCAD), familiarity with communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Ethernet), and experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Additional preferred qualifications: bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or related field; experience in field testing and validation of embedded systems; robust analytical, documentation, and collaboration skills.
