Role Description This is a full time remote role for an Electrical Engineer at Alligator Automations.

The Electrical

Engineer will design, review, and optimize electrical systems for end-of-line packaging automation, including power distribution and control systems for various industrial applications. Daily responsibilities include developing electrical layouts and schematics, selecting appropriate components, ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as mechanical, software, and project engineering. The role also involves supporting project execution, troubleshooting electrical issues during commissioning,



preparing technical documentation, and providing guidance on system improvements and energy efficiency.

The Electrical

Engineer will work closely with project managers and clients to interpret requirements and deliver reliable, cost-effective, and scalable electrical solutions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Engineering and Electricity fundamentals, with a solid understanding of industrial automation environments.
- Candidates should possess experience in Electrical Design, including schematic creation, panel layout, and component selection for automated systems.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Power Distribution and Power Systems, including load calculations, protection devices, and grounding practices.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline; advanced degrees or certifications in industrial automation or power systems are an advantage.
- Experience with PLCs, drives, sensors, and control panels, along with familiarity with applicable electrical codes and safety standards.
- Proficiency with electrical CAD tools and basic project documentation, plus the ability to collaborate effectively with remote and onsite multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Prior experience in packaging automation, manufacturing, or industrial machinery integration is preferred but not mandatory.
