Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Drilling Engineer role located in Cuttack.

The Drilling

Engineer will plan and design drilling programs, select appropriate drilling fluids and equipment, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, efficient well construction. Daily responsibilities include monitoring drilling operations, analyzing performance data, troubleshooting operational issues, and updating plans based on geological and fluid behavior. The role also involves preparing technical reports, supporting completion planning,



ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards, and collaborating with field personnel and vendors to optimize drilling performance.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of drilling engineering, including Drilling and Completion processes.
- Experience working with Drilling Fluids and understanding the behavior of Fluids in subsurface environments.
- Foundational understanding of Petroleum engineering principles and reservoir-related considerations for well design.
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience in field-based drilling operations or internships in oil and gas or related sectors.
- Ability to interpret well logs, drilling data, and technical drawings, and use relevant engineering software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to safety and regulatory compliance.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with onsite crews and office-based stakeholders.
