Accurate College of Law invites applications from experienced academic leaders for the position of Director – Law. The selected candidate will lead the BA LL.B. and LL.B. programmes, strengthen academic quality, develop faculty and build meaningful connections with the legal profession.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead the college’s academic planning, administration and overall development.

· Ensure effective curriculum delivery, teaching quality, examinations and timely completion of academic activities.

· Oversee compliance with applicable Bar Council of India, affiliating university and other regulatory requirements.

· Recruit, mentor and evaluate faculty, promoting accountability and professional development.

· Strengthen practical legal education through moot courts, mock trials, legal aid clinics, court visits and drafting workshops.

· Build relationships with advocates, law firms, corporate legal departments and judicial professionals for internships, expert sessions and career opportunities.

· Encourage legal research, publications,



conferences and student participation in competitions.

· Monitor student attendance, academic progress, discipline and grievance resolution.

· Support admissions through academic counselling, outreach and initiatives that strengthen the college’s reputation.

· Manage departmental resources, budgets and infrastructure, and report progress to management.

Qualifications and Experience

· LL.B. and LL.M. from recognised institutions; Ph.D. in Law.

· Substantial experience in legal education, including academic administration and institutional leadership.

· Prior experience as Director, Principal or Head of a law college is required.

· Strong understanding of legal education standards, regulatory compliance and university processes.

· A credible record of teaching, research, faculty development and student mentoring.

· Candidates must meet the applicable eligibility requirements for the position.
