Role Description The Desktop Publishing Operator role at Content.Kosh is a remote position focused on preparing high-quality print and digital materials for academic, coaching, and marketing projects. On a day-to-day basis, the operator formats and layouts text and graphics, ensures consistency across documents, and prepares files for printing and digital distribution.

Responsibilities include working with desktop publishing software, applying templates and style guides, checking alignment and typography, and coordinating pre-press steps such as bleeds, color settings, and export specifications. The role also involves collaborating with content creators and designers,



performing quality checks, and maintaining organized file management for multiple ongoing projects. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to deadlines, and clear communication in a distributed team environment.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in desktop publishing tools and workflows, with strong skills in Desktop Publishing and Pre-press.
- Accurate Typing skills with the ability to handle structured documents and high-volume content efficiently.
- Knowledge of Printing processes, including preparing print-ready files and understanding basic production requirements.
- Ability to work with Graphics, including placement, resizing, and basic image adjustments within layouts.
- Strong attention to detail, including spelling, formatting, and style consistency across materials.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage timelines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with common DTP and design software (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, or similar tools) is highly beneficial.
- Relevant experience in educational, publishing, or content production environments is an advantage.
- Effective written communication skills and the ability to follow guidelines and technical specifications.
