About PANHAPANHA is an emotional support and women's safety platform dedicated to making mental health support more accessible, inclusive, and stigma-free.

We are building a safe and supportive community where individuals can express themselves freely, share their experiences, seek emotional support, and connect with trained peer listeners (Buddies) and professional psychologists.

Through technology, community initiatives, and mental health awareness, PANHA aims to address real-life challenges faced by Gen Z and young adults, including anxiety, loneliness, relationship struggles, emotional distress, self-worth, and women's safety.

About the RoleWe are looking for a creative and passionate Scriptwriter who understands Gen Z culture, human psychology, and mental health. The candidate should have a strong ability to transform real-life experiences, emotions, and social issues into relatable and impactful stories.

You will be responsible for developing creative scripts for short films, Instagram Reels, and digital storytelling campaigns that connect emotionally with audiences and create meaningful social impact.

Key Responsibilities





- Write creative and emotionally engaging scripts for short films and Instagram Reels.
- Develop relatable stories around mental health, psychology, relationships, emotional struggles, trauma, self-worth, and women's safety.
- Create stories that connect with Gen Z audiences, reflecting their lifestyle, challenges, digital culture, and emotional experiences.
- Translate psychological concepts and human behaviour into simple, relatable storytelling.
- Develop compelling hooks, realistic dialogues, engaging characters, and impactful endings.
- Write scripts for 30–90 second Instagram Reels and 3–10 minute short films.
- Convert real-life situations and experiences into meaningful fictional or awareness-based stories.
- Research trending topics, youth culture, and social issues to develop fresh storytelling concepts.
- Collaborate with the creative and video production teams to bring stories to life.

Required Skills & Knowledge
- Strong storytelling, creative writing, and scriptwriting skills.
- Positive understanding of Gen Z culture, trends, challenges, and communication styles.
- Knowledge or genuine interest in mental health, psychology, and human behaviour.
- Understanding of topics such as anxiety, loneliness, depression, relationships, emotional trauma, self-esteem, peer pressure, and social anxiety.




- Ability to communicate psychological concepts through relatable stories.
- Understanding of Instagram Reels, short-form videos, and digital content trends.
- Ability to write authentic, emotionally engaging, and original narratives.
- Sensitivity towards mental health and social issues.

Preferred Qualifications
- Background in Psychology, Journalism, Mass Communication, Film Studies, or Creative Writing is a plus.
- Previous experience in short-film writing, storytelling, or digital content creation is preferred.
- A portfolio of scripts, stories, or creative writing samples will be an advantage.
