The will perform a variety of accounting tasks including but not limited to preparing journal entries, analyzing, and reconciling various balance sheet accounts, preparing spreadsheets, and participating in the month end close.

Responsibilities:

- Performs a variety of accounting tasks including but not limited to preparing journal entries, reconciling, and analyzing various balance sheet accounts, preparing
- spreadsheets based on financial data and participating in the month-end close.
- Will work with various departments including Production, A/P, and Inventory Control.
- Responsible for using REVEAL and JDE Systems.
- Specific duties will include but not be limited to cost input, WIP variance review, and balancing of daily reports.
- Will assist senior accountants on special projects where needed.
- Will be exposed to paper inventory accounting and may be responsible for assisting in the processing of paper usages as required.
- Will assist in providing inventory SOX documentation and audit information as requested

Cost Accounting

- Prepare and maintain product costing and standard cost systems.
- Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs.
- Conduct variance analysis and investigate cost differences.
- Monitor inventory valuation and reconcile stock records.
- Prepare monthly cost reports, profitability reports, and management information (MIS).
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.




- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Perform account reconciliations and journal entries.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Solid knowledge of Month end close, Journal entries, Account Reconciliation, etc.
- BCom, CMA/ICWA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Experience in cost accounting, inventory accounting, or manufacturing finance.
- Strong knowledge of costing methods, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (JDE, Blackline, Powerplan/Trullion, MS Office, Coop Tool - Oracle, etc.).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
