Role Description The Cost Manager will oversee all aspects of cost control and financial planning for architecture and planning projects at J D Creation. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing cost estimates and budgets, tracking project expenses, analyzing variances, and updating forecasts to support informed decision-making. The role involves coordinating with design teams, project managers, contractors, and suppliers to validate quantities, review quotations, and negotiate favorable terms, while ensuring compliance with project specifications and local regulations.

The Cost

Manager will also contribute to value engineering, risk assessment, and reporting,



producing timely cost summaries and recommendations for project leadership. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Navi Mumbai.

Qualifications

- Experience in cost management, quantity surveying, or project finance within architecture, construction, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong skills in budgeting, cost estimation, cost control, and financial analysis for project-based work.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and project management or cost-control software (e.g., MS Excel, MS Project, or equivalent tools).
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, BOQs, contracts, and technical specifications.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Relevant qualified certifications in cost management or project management (e.g., RICS, PMP, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Knowledge of local building regulations, industry standards, and procurement practices in Navi Mumbai or the broader region.
- Ability to work on-site full time, manage multiple projects concurrently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
