Role Description The Commerce Mentor will guide and support commerce students in developing the academic and professional skills needed for successful placements and career growth. This full-time role is based on-site in Tiruppur, where the mentor will conduct interactive classroom sessions, workshops, and doubt-clearing discussions on commerce-related subjects and foundational business concepts. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing lesson plans, creating learning materials and practice questions, monitoring student progress, and providing individual feedback and mentoring.

The role also involves coordinating with the academic and placement teams,



helping students prepare for interviews and assessments, and maintaining a positive, inclusive learning workplace.

The Commerce

Mentor will continuously update content to reflect current industry trends and assessment patterns, ensuring learners are job-ready.

Qualifications

- Strong academic background in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated ability to teach, mentor, or coach students, with experience in classroom facilitation, training, or academic counseling.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly to diverse learners.
- Ability to design structured lesson plans, assessments, and learning resources aligned with placement and career outcomes.
- Comfort working with digital tools, learning platforms, and basic productivity software for content delivery and student tracking.
- Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and a learner-centric mindset to motivate and support students from varied backgrounds.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple batches, schedules, and academic activities efficiently.
- Prior experience in coaching for campus placements, competitive exams, or professional certifications in commerce is an added advantage.
- Fluency in English; ability to communicate in local/regional languages is a plus.
