Role Description The Commerce Mentor will work full time on-site at FACE Prep’s Tiruppur location, guiding commerce students through their academic and career preparation journey. Day-to-day responsibilities include delivering interactive sessions, clarifying subject concepts, and supporting learners in developing strong fundamentals in commerce-related topics. The role involves designing and updating learning materials, practice exercises, and assessments aligned with placement-focused skill development.

The Mentor will provide one-on-one and group guidance, track student progress,



and collaborate with other mentors and staff to improve teaching methodologies and learner outcomes. The position requires active engagement with students, consistent classroom presence, and contribution to a supportive, inclusive learning workplace.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of core commerce subjects (accounting, finance, business studies, economics) and ability to explain concepts clearly.
- Skills in teaching, mentoring, and classroom facilitation, with a learner-centered and inclusive approach.
- Ability to design and structure lesson plans, learning materials, and assessments that support placement-oriented skill development.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse groups of students and build trust.
- Comfort with basic digital tools and online learning platforms to support blended learning if required.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Management, or a related field; prior teaching or training experience is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with capacity to handle multiple batches or courses.
- Interest in career guidance and student development, with a commitment to helping learners achieve their professional goals.
