Role Summary

We are seeking a Data Engineer with strong experience in building scalable data solutions on modern data platforms. The ideal candidate will be technically strong, research-oriented, and capable of designing efficient data pipelines while collaborating closely with BI and analytics teams. Exposure to Microsoft Fabric is a strong plus. Strong visualization, experience working on fabric, migration to dynamics ( good to have), Integrations ( valuable to have)

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and notebooks using Microsoft Fabric and/or Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Build and manage Lakehouses and Data Warehouses, leveraging modern lakehouse architecture (OneLake exposure preferred).
- Integrate data from multiple structured and unstructured sources using Dataflows, Pipelines, and Notebooks.
- Collaborate with BI and analytics teams to enable seamless integration with Power BI and reporting tools.
- Implement and adhere to data governance, security, and compliance standards.




- Optimize data storage and processing for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance data workflows, ensuring data quality and reliability.
- Contribute to architectural decisions with a research-oriented, forward-thinking mindset.
- Maintain clear documentation for data architecture, models, and processes.
- Implement automated functional testing as part of data pipeline development.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with PySpark
- Spark SQL
- Data Modeling (conceptual, logical, and physical)
- Proven experience in data pipeline design and ingestion patterns
- Experience working in cloud-based data platforms (Microsoft Azure)
- Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics
- Exposure to CI/CD and automated testing for data solutions
