About MyPortlyMyPortly is a new-age investment app built to make investing simpler, more accessible and less stressful. We're building a modern fintech brand with a young, ambitious startup environment.

As we approach our launch, we're expanding our in-house creative team and looking for people who can bring fresh ideas, strong creative instincts and outstanding execution to the table.

Role DescriptionWe're looking for a creative Cinematographer who knows how to turn ideas into engaging visual stories.

You'll be responsible for shooting video content across formats, ranging from short-form social media videos and reels to longer founder-led videos, interviews, finance-related explainers and other brand content.

You'll work closely with the founder, CMO and marketing team to conceptualise and execute video ideas. We want someone who understands visual storytelling, enjoys experimenting with different formats and can make even finance-related content interesting to watch.

The role can be focused on cinematography, with a separate video editor, or combined with editing if you have both skill sets.

What You'll Be Doing

- Plan and shoot short-form and long-form video content for MyPortly.
- Work on founder-led videos, team content, interviews, finance explainers and creative brand campaigns.
- Collaborate with the founder and marketing team to brainstorm concepts and visual approaches.
- Handle camera equipment, lenses,



lighting, framing, audio and on-set production.
- Experiment with different shooting styles, transitions, storytelling techniques and formats.
- Coordinate with the editing team to ensure the final output matches the creative vision.
- Take ownership of shoots from preparation to final footage delivery.

What We're Looking For
- Strong cinematography and camera operation skills.
- A good understanding of lighting, framing, composition and visual storytelling.
- Experience shooting both short-form and long-form content.
- A creative portfolio or showreel that demonstrates your style and capabilities.
- The ability to understand a brief and bring your own creative perspective to it.
- Someone who is comfortable working with founders, teams and different on-camera personalities.

Video editing skills are an added advantage. Candidates who can independently handle both shooting and editing are welcome to apply.

A background in fintech or finance is not required. We care about your creativity, technical skills and ability to make great content.

Work Setup & Compensation

- Full time, in-house role based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
- Primarily on-site, with reasonable hybrid flexibility depending on work requirements.
- Immediate joining preferred.
- Compensation is negotiable based on experience, capabilities and portfolio.
