Areete Consultants LLP is looking for an experienced Chartered Accountant (Manager) to lead client engagements, mentor teams, and deliver excellence in GST, Direct & Indirect Taxation, Financial Reporting, and Regulatory Compliance.
Key Highlights
CA with 6–7 years of post-qualification experience
Recent & relevant experience in a CA Firm is mandatory
Candidates with only industry/corporate experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- GST & Indirect Taxation
End-to-end independent handling of GST compliances, advisory, and litigation assignments
Review and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns, reconciliations, etc.)
GST audits, assessments, notices, and departmental representations
Advisory on GST structuring, input tax credit optimization, and compliance planning
Keeping clients updated on changes in GST laws and implications.
- Financial Reporting & Compliance
Finalization of financial statements (including consolidation of domestic and international subsidiaries) as per applicable accounting standards.
Preparation and review of MIS reports and financial analysis Handling tax audits;
Ensuring compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax Act, and other regulatory requirements
Liaising with auditors, bankers, and regulatory authorities.
- Team Leadership & Management
Supervision, mentoring, and review of work performed by team members
Allocation of assignments and ensuring timely completion
Quality control and review of deliverables before submission
Training team members on GST and financial reporting updates
Building a collaborative and performance-driven team environment.
- Client Relationship Management
Acting as a key point of contact for assigned clients
Providing proactive advisory and business insights
Managing multiple client engagements simultaneously
Ensuring client satisfaction and retention
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification (Mandatory)
6-7+ years of relevant experience in a CA firm
Strong expertise in GST laws and compliance
Excellent knowledge of financial statements
Excellent Knowledge of Direct Taxes, payroll, FEMA, Corporate laws, and taxation
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho, Computax etc.) and advance knowledge of MS Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Leadership ability with experience in managing teams.
Candidates with solid statutory audit experience will be preferred.
