Role Description The Carrier Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Erode, focused on guiding students, trainees, and professionals in planning and progressing their careers. In this role, the counselor conducts one-on-one and group counseling sessions to understand individual goals, skills, and interests, and recommends suitable training programs or career pathways. The counselor provides information on course options, industry trends, job roles, and placement opportunities, and supports learners with resume preparation, interview readiness, and job search strategies.





Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining accurate learner records, coordinating with training and placement teams, organizing orientation sessions and career workshops, and following up with alumni for feedback and success tracking. The role requires active collaboration with trainers and management to refine counseling processes and enhance overall learner outcomes.

Qualifications

- Counseling and guidance skills, including the ability to assess learner interests, strengths, and career goals, and to provide clear, practical advice.
- - Organizational and coordination abilities, such as maintaining learner records, scheduling sessions, and collaborating with training, placement, and administrative teams.
- Basic understanding of technical and professional domains offered by the company (industrial automation, embedded/IIoT, IT/software, digital marketing) and willingness to learn more.
- Proficiency in local languages (Tamil) and English to support diverse learner groups, including Tamil-medium and English-medium batches.
- Comfort with using computers and productivity tools (email, spreadsheets, presentation software, CRM or student management systems) for documentation and reporting.
- Prior experience in academic counseling, training institutes, HR, or placement services is an advantage, but motivated graduates with solid people skills are encouraged to apply.
