Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Cathlab Scrub Nurse located in the Kutch district.

The Cathlab Scrub

Nurse will assist cardiologists and other clinicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures, including preparing the operating area, arranging instruments, and ensuring all equipment is sterile and functioning. Daily responsibilities include verifying patient identity, supporting pre- and post-procedure care, monitoring patient status during procedures within the scope of practice, and maintaining accurate documentation. The role involves collaborating closely with the cathlab team, following infection control and safety protocols,



managing instrument counts, and ensuring readiness for emergency interventions.

The nurse will also participate in quality improvement activities and ongoing training to keep skills current with evolving cathlab practices.

Qualifications

- Clinical care skills: proficiency in Nursing and basic Medicine relevant to cathlab procedures.
- Perioperative and procedure-assist skills: experience in Surgery and Operating Room practices, including sterile technique and instrument handling.
- Exposure to specialized procedures: familiarity with Orthopedic Surgery or other specialized surgical environments is beneficial.
- Valid nursing qualification and registration with the appropriate nursing council.
- Prior experience in a cathlab, cardiac ICU, or operating room setting is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, adherence to safety and infection control standards, and ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with physicians, technicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Willingness to work in shifts as required and to participate in ongoing training and career development.
