Role Description The Business Development Intern will support growth initiatives by identifying potential partners, generating leads, and assisting in expanding The Founders’ network. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market and competitor research, maintaining prospect databases, and supporting outreach to entrepreneurs, investors, and ecosystem partners. The intern will help coordinate pitch events, networking sessions, and follow-ups, while providing customer service to community members and responding to inquiries.

This is a full-time,



hybrid role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, with a combination of on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills to interpret market data, assess opportunities, and support decision-making.
- Effective communication skills for engaging with founders, investors, and internal stakeholders.
- Lead generation and prospecting skills to identify and nurture potential partners and community members.
- Market research capabilities to track trends, competitor activity, and ecosystem developments.
- Customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for community members and event participants.
- Interest in startups, venture capital, and entrepreneurship ecosystems.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple tasks in a rapid-paced environment.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Management, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proficiency with productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, CRM or database tools) is an advantage.
