Key Qualifications & Skills Required
- Core Technical Stack: Strong proficiency in Java (OOPs, Collections, Exception Handling, Data Structures, Multithreading basics).
- Web Automation:
- Advanced expertise in Selenium WebDriver (POM, Page Factory, dynamic waits, frame/window handling).
- Hands-on experience with Playwright (Java binding) for resilient web automation.
- Testing Frameworks:
In-depth knowledge of TestNG (annotations, assertions, parallel execution, listeners, suite management).
- BDD Framework: Solid background in BDD / Cucumber (Gherkin syntax, Step Definitions, Hooks, Tags, Data Tables).
- CI/CD & Version Control:
- Solid hands-on experience setting up and managing jobs/pipelines in Jenkins.
- Proficient with Git (branching strategies, PRs, merge conflict resolution).
- Build Tools & Reporting:
- Experience with Maven or Gradle for build and dependency management.
