Job Overview

Narwar Lakefront Resort is seeking an experienced, responsible, and guest-oriented F&B; Captain to supervise restaurant service operations and ensure excellent dining experiences for guests. The candidate should have strong leadership abilities, positive communication skills, and sound knowledge of food and beverage service standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily restaurant and F&B; service operations.
- Lead and guide stewards and service associates during operations.
- Allocate duties and ensure smooth coordination among team members.
- Welcome guests, assist with seating, and ensure personalized service.
- Monitor food and beverage service quality and presentation.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team for timely food delivery.
- Handle guest complaints, feedback, and special requests professionally.
- Supervise restaurant setup, table arrangements, and buffet operations.
- Ensure proper billing, order taking, and settlement procedures.
- Monitor staff grooming, discipline, and adherence to SOPs.
- Conduct pre-shift briefings and ensure proper shift handovers.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in all F&B; areas.
- Assist in training and developing service team members.
- Promote upselling of food, beverages,



and resort services.

Requirements

- Minimum qualification: 12th Pass or Graduate preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Food & Beverage Service, preferably in a hotel or resort.
- Previous experience in a Captain or supervisory role is preferred.
- Good knowledge of restaurant operations and service standards.
- Strong communication, leadership, and guest-handling skills.
- Knowledge of POS billing systems and order management.
- Ability to manage a team and handle busy service periods.
- Professional grooming and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.
