About the role

As a Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining our analyser systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficiency and reliability of our manufacturing processes. Your expertise in AutoCAD, PLC, HMI and analysers will contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality products to our customers.

Experience Required:

- Engineer: 3+ years of relevant experience in Gas Analytics & Instrumentation.
- Senior Engineer: 6+ years of relevant experience in Gas Analytics & Instrumentation.

Location: Adage HO, Goa Qualification: B.E./B.Tech./Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline, with relevant industry experience.

Primary Job Responsibilities

- Detailed System Engineering: Design comprehensive Gas & Liquid Analyzer Systems,



encompassing analyzer houses, field cabinets, racks, and structural layouts.
- Sample Conditioning Design: Architect and design complete sample conditioning systems (SCS) from the process probe to the analyzer inlet, ensuring accurate sample representation and optimal lag times.
- Engineering Calculations: Perform critical technical calculations including sample transport lag times, stream phase behaviour (dew point/flash point analysis), utility consumption, and flow element/rotameter sizing.
- Component Specification & Procurement: Write precise technical specifications for system components (e.g., Explosion-proof electrical panels, junction boxes, valves, and tubing) and evaluate vendor quotes.
- Documentation & Safety: Develop complete engineering drawings (P&IDs;, loop diagrams, general arrangements, electrical schematics).
- Validation & Testing: Support factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site acceptance testing (SAT) to validate that integrated systems meet strict functional and operational standards.

Required Skills

Technical Expertise:

- Proven knowledge of analytical instruments (e.g., Gas Chromatographs, Oxygen/Moisture Analyzers etc).
- Understanding of sample transport physics, hazardous area classifications (ATEX/IECEx), and global engineering codes.
- Proficiency in office software and CAD software (AutoCAD/SolidWorks) and engineering simulation tools.
- Familiarity to project management tools like MS projects.

Soft Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, excellent cross-functional teamwork with project managers and EPC clients, and sharp attention to detail.
