We are looking for a skilled and motivated AI/ML Backend Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to building scalable backend applications, intelligent AI solutions, and agentic AI-powered systems.

Job Overview The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python backend development, FastAPI, Machine Learning, NLP, Transformers, and modern AI technologies. The role involves designing and developing scalable microservices, building AI agents and multi-agent systems, implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions, and integrating cloud-based AI services.

The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, deploy, and maintain production-ready applications while following best practices in software development, cloud infrastructure, and Agile methodologies.

Mandatory Skills / technologies

- Python, FastAPI, Machine Learning, Transformers, NLP, Agentic AI frameworks (Eg: Microsoft Agent Framework)
- Agent-to-Agent Protocol, Model Context Protocol (MCP), Docker, Kubernetes, Microservice architecture, Helm charts, ElasticSearch, MongoDB, PostgreSQL
- AWS(Cognito, S3, EC2, Bedrock), Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Proficiency with Git, CI/CD workflows/tools, and Agile development methodologies
- Optional Skills / technologies
- Keycloak, Java, Ruby, Deep Learning





Key responsibilities

- Demonstrates ownership and consistently delivers quality work on time. Good team player who acts on constructive feedback and uses it to improve himself/herself
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend applications and RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI
- Develop microservices-based applications with a focus on scalability, reliability, performance, and maintainability
- Develop and implement Machine Learning, NLP, and Transformer-based solutions for real-world business problems
- Build AI agents and multi-agent systems using agentic AI frameworks such as Microsoft Agent Framework, Model Context Protocol (MCP), including Agent-to-Agent (A2A) communication and orchestration
- Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments on Kubernetes using Helm charts
- Integrate and manage data storage and search solutions using MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and PostgreSQL databases
- Integrate AWS services such as Cognito, S3, EC2, and Amazon Bedrock for authentication, storage, infrastructure, and AI-powered applications
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using AWS Cognito or Keycloak
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, design technical solutions, and deliver production-ready AI applications
- Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure code quality through testing, documentation, and best practices
