Saileor is hiring an Accounts Payable Officer on behalf of our client, a multi-entity retail group based in Australia. This is a fully remote role based in India. Immediate joiners are preferred.

Your day runs from about 7:00 am to 4:00 pm IST).

What you will do

- Enter and code invoices across all the Group's entities
- Match invoices to purchase orders and proof of delivery (POD) before processing
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any differences
- Support month-end close, including accruals, journals and reconciliations
- Do bank and general ledger reconciliations as needed
- Work in the Group's finance system, Microsoft Business Central (NAV), with Continia for invoice and OCR processing
- Work closely with the finance team in Australia and the offshore team in the Philippines to make sure handovers are smooth and tasks are covered
- Handle supplier queries
- Give general finance and admin support when needed
- Work extra hours from time to time to meet deadlines, mostly around month-end What you need




- 3 to 5 years of experience in accounts payable or bookkeeping
- A bachelor's degree in accounting or commerce (B.Com or equivalent)
- A sound understanding of accounting principles Nice to have
- Experience with Microsoft Business Central (NAV)
- Experience with Continia or similar invoice and OCR tools
