Role Description The Wedding Planner role at Viraaya Weddings is a full-time, in office position based in Delhi, India.

The Wedding

Planner will manage the end-to-end planning and execution of luxury weddings and destination events, including timelines, vendor coordination, venue selection, décor implementation, and logistics. Daily responsibilities include meeting clients to understand their vision, creating detailed event plans and budgets, overseeing guest management and hospitality arrangements, and ensuring smooth on-the-day production. The role involves close collaboration with internal design and operations teams, vendors, and venues to maintain high service standards and deliver refined, bespoke experiences.

The Wedding

Planner is expected to provide attentive client service,



handle last-minute changes calmly, and uphold Viraaya Weddings’ quality and brand values throughout each project.

Qualifications

- Strong planning and event planning skills, with experience structuring timelines, workflows, and detailed checklists.
- Specialized wedding planning capabilities, including managing ceremonies, receptions, traditions, and multi-day celebrations.
- Budgeting skills to create, track, and optimize event budgets while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build trust, manage expectations, and communicate clearly with clients and guests.
- Relevant experience in luxury events, hospitality, or wedding planning, preferably in India or destination settings.
- Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills, including negotiation and contract coordination.
- High attention to detail, creativity in event concepts and décor, and the ability to solve problems under pressure.
- Ability to work on-site at events, including evenings and weekends as required by wedding schedules.
- Proficiency in basic office tools and planning software; familiarity with project management or event management tools is a plus.
- Diploma or degree in event management, hospitality, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory with strong relevant experience.
