Role Description The Warehouse Associate role at bigbasket is a full-time, on-site position based in Thiruvananthapuram. This role involves receiving, unloading, and organizing incoming goods, as well as picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment according to company standards and timelines.

The Warehouse

Associate will operate material handling equipment, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure that products are stored and handled safely.



Daily responsibilities also include keeping the warehouse clean and orderly, following all safety and quality guidelines, and collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet operational targets. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to supporting efficient warehouse operations that contribute to an excellent customer experience.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Shipping & Receiving to manage incoming and outgoing goods accurately and efficiently.
- Candidates should possess skills in Packing and Unloading to handle, sort, and prepare products for storage and dispatch.
- Candidates should possess skills in Forklift Operation and Pallet Jack use to safely move and organize inventory within the warehouse.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures and ability to follow standard operating guidelines.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move packages and materials as required for warehouse operations.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a quick-paced environment and communicate clearly with team members.
- Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or retail operations is beneficial; familiarity with inventory or scanning systems is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification preferred.
