Position: Principal Officer (Crypto Exchange / VDA Compliance)

Salary: ₹80,000 – ₹1,00,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience)

RequirementAxisit Digital Private Limited is looking to appoint a qualified Principal Officer for its proposed Cryptocurrency Exchange (Virtual Digital Asset Service Provider) to support regulatory compliance and FIU-IND registration requirements.

Mandatory Eligibility Criteria

- Experience: Minimum 3–4 years of relevant experience in AML, KYC, Compliance, Risk Management, Regulatory Affairs, or Financial Crime Compliance.
- Must possess adequate knowledge of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), PML Rules, and FIU-IND compliance requirements.
- Must be capable of serving as a full-time, management-level Principal Officer.
- Must not undertake simultaneous or concurrent employment with another organization.
- Must possess sufficient seniority and decision-making authority to independently discharge compliance responsibilities.
- Must have a robust understanding of AML/CFT regulations, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Suspicious Transaction Reporting (STR), and regulatory reporting obligations.
- Must be familiar with Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing (ML/TF) risks, emerging trends, and typologies relevant to the cryptocurrency and VDA sector.




- Must not be actively involved in business operations that could create conflicts of interest with Principal Officer responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as the designated Principal Officer responsible for AML/CFT compliance.
- Ensure adherence to applicable PMLA, PML Rules, and FIU-IND requirements.
- Develop, implement, and oversee AML/KYC/CFT policies and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and monitor suspicious transactions.
- Ensure timely submission of applicable regulatory reports.
- Coordinate with FIU-IND, regulatory authorities, auditors, and law enforcement agencies.
- Participate in senior-level risk assessment committees.
- Present periodic AML/CFT compliance reviews to the Board or relevant Board committee, preferably quarterly.
- Ensure effective compliance monitoring and maintenance of regulatory documentation.

Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as CAMS, ICA, or equivalent AML/Compliance certifications will be an added advantage.
