Role Description The Vehicle Inspector is responsible for conducting thorough on-site inspections of vehicles at the Ludhiana location in a full-time capacity. Day-to-day tasks include performing detailed mechanical, structural, electrical, and cosmetic checks using diagnostic tools, following RidePDI’s standardized multi-point inspection protocols. The role involves documenting findings with clear notes and high-quality photographs, preparing accurate digital reports, and flagging any safety concerns or potential mechanical issues.

The Vehicle





Inspector will interact with customers to explain inspection results in an understandable manner, answer questions, and support informed decision-making. This position also includes coordinating schedules, maintaining inspection equipment, and adhering to quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise in vehicle inspection and general inspection practices, with the ability to follow detailed multi-point checklists.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and basic repair principles to accurately identify wear, defects, and potential failures.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical findings clearly and build trust with clients.
- Commitment to customer satisfaction, including responsiveness, professionalism, and a service-oriented mindset.
- Experience using diagnostic tools (e.g., OBD-II scanners, paint depth gauges) and familiarity with modern automotive systems.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently on-site in a structured, time-productive manner.
- Relevant technical education or certification in automotive engineering, mechanics, or a related field is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, with the ability to inspect a wide range of vehicle types.
