Role Description The Food and Beverage GSA (Guest Service Associate) is a full-time, on-site role based at Four Points by Sheraton Mahabalipuram Resort & Convention Center in Tirukalukunram. This role focuses on delivering attentive, guest-centered service in restaurants, bars, banquet venues, and poolside areas. Daily responsibilities include welcoming guests, presenting menus, taking orders accurately, coordinating with the kitchen and bar, serving food and beverages, and ensuring tables and service stations are clean and well-stocked.

The GSA supports buffet setups, assists with large events,



processes payments, and follows all hygiene, safety, and brand standards. The role requires close collaboration with culinary, front office, and housekeeping teams to provide a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications

- Ability to deliver high-quality Food Service and Food & Beverage support, including order taking, serving, and maintaining service standards.
- Solid Customer Service orientation with a focus on guest satisfaction, problem-solving, and professional hospitality behavior.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with guests and team members, including clear verbal communication and active listening.
- Basic Culinary Skills and product knowledge to explain menu items, dietary options, and food and beverage pairings.
- Prior experience in hotel, resort, or restaurant operations is preferred, especially in front-of-house food and beverage roles.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, work flexible hours, and support peak business times, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of hygiene, safety, and food handling standards; certification in food safety is an advantage.
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or hotel management education is beneficial.
