Allegion India is seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer to support projects for Mechanical team.

Responsible for the design, development, and technical analysis of moderate scope and complexity, either independently or with team. Contribute to multiple projects, Generate, evaluate, analyze, and develop design concepts for systems, components, and assemblies to achieve new product requirements and current product improvements. Must have a full understanding of their area of specialization; should have a significant focus on further growing and developing their technical skills and gaining experience. Expected to proactively collaborate with others on routine work and are accountable to incorporate into design to meet the quality and schedules. Executing mechanical or electromechanical subsystem design under little or no supervision.
Utilize engineering tools (FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, GD&T;, Tolerance Stack Analysis & DFM/DFA) to ensure that requirement risks are evaluated and mitigated early in the design process.
Learns established engineering processes (ECN, BOM, RFQ, etc.), Self-motivated mindset with solid engineering project management skills.
Ability to clearly present technical information to other groups within Engineering.
Experience in supplier coordination and communication of design inputs
Experience with manufacturing processes such as die casting, investment casting, powdered metal, stampings,



injection molded plastics, machining, LPM, and rapid prototyping is a plus.
Develop required design documentation, 3D models/drawings, and instructions for manufacturing and product test requirements. Experience with Creo is a plus.
