Role Description The Pastry Chef will be responsible for preparing, baking, and decorating a variety of cakes, pastries, and desserts in line with Baker's Nest's quality standards and creative vision. This full-time, on-site role, based in the Pune Division, includes daily tasks such as planning production schedules, measuring and mixing ingredients, operating bakery equipment, and ensuring consistent presentation and taste. The Pastry Chef will develop new recipes, customize orders for special occasions,



and maintain a clean, protected, and organized kitchen environment following food safety guidelines. The role also involves collaborating with the team to fulfill customer orders on time, managing inventory of ingredients and supplies, and supporting seasonal menus or special promotions.

Strong foundation in Bakery operations and Baking techniques, with hands-on experience in cakes, pastries, and desserts.

Proficiency in Food Preparation and Cooking, including measuring ingredients, following recipes, and managing production workflows.

Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and safe handling of equipment in a commercial kitchen environment.

Ability to work on-site full time in Pune Division, including weekends and peak festive seasons as needed.

Prior experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or in a professional bakery or patisserie is preferred.

Culinary certification or formal training in baking and pastry arts is an advantage but not mandatory.
