Product Definition Analyst 2

As a Product Definition Analyst, you will play a key role in translating business needs into actionable requirements and ensuring successful delivery of Billing Mediation solutions. Working closely with Product Owners, Development, Quality Engineering, Operations, and business stakeholders, you will analyse business processes, define requirements, validate solutions, and support functional delivery across mediation flows and related platforms.

You will contribute to the continuous evolution of mediation capabilities by driving requirement clarity, supporting solution design discussions, validating delivered functionality, and helping improve operational efficiency through data-driven insights and automation opportunities.

Collaborate with Product Owners to refine product backlogs, define business priorities, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Work closely with Development and Quality Engineering teams throughout the delivery lifecycle to clarify requirements and support implementation.

Support testing, validation, and user acceptance activities to ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations.

Analyse production issues, data discrepancies, and operational challenges to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.

Contribute to process optimisation, automation initiatives, and AI-enabled business analysis practices.

Experience in Business Analysis, Product Analysis, Functional Analysis, or a similar role within software delivery environments.

Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and product delivery practices.

Understanding of APIs, data flows, integrations, event-driven systems, and modern cloud-based architectures.

Experience working with data analysis, validation, reconciliation,



and reporting activities.

Business Analysis & Requirements Management

Support backlog refinement and prioritisation activities with Product Owners.

Identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and impacts across business processes and systems.

Collaborate with Product Owners and development teams during solution design discussions.

Testing & Validation

Support functional validation, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Assist in defect analysis and resolution activities.

Operations & Serviceability

Support investigation of functional incidents, data issues, and operational exceptions.

Analyse mediation flow behaviour, reconciliation results, and business impacts.

Collaborate with operations and support teams to improve monitoring and serviceability.

Agile Delivery

Participate in Agile ceremonies including planning, refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.

Leverage AI-assisted analysis tools to improve requirement quality and productivity.

Identify opportunities to automate manual business processes and analysis activities.

Contribute to improvements in data quality, traceability, reporting, and operational efficiency.

Promote best practices in business analysis, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.

Requirement Ownership: Responsible for the quality, completeness, and traceability of requirements.

Partner with Dev, QA,



and Operations teams throughout the product lifecycle.
