- 3-6 years of end-to-end recruitment experience, in an RPO or agency setting or in-house at a large employer
- Currently based in Chennai, or able to join within 30 days and work from the Chennai office
- Hands-on sourcing on LinkedIn Recruiter and Naukri, with working Boolean skills
- Experience closing mid-level and lateral roles in engineering, manufacturing, automotive or technology
- Comfortable with a daily target routine: calls, screening, submissions and interview coordination
- Clear spoken and written English, plus Tamil or Hindi

About the role
You will own the full recruitment cycle for assigned client requisitions. That means understanding the brief, sourcing, screening, submitting profiles, coordinating interviews, negotiating offers and tracking candidates through to joining. You will work with a team lead and report to the delivery head.

Key responsibilities
Take intake from hiring managers and client HR, and agree the must-have criteria before sourcing starts
Build Boolean strings and source from LinkedIn, job portals,



referrals and talent databases
Screen candidates on skills, notice period, compensation and stability, and write short, accurate candidate briefs
Submit only profiles that match the requirement, with CTC and notice period verified
Schedule interviews and keep candidates and hiring managers informed after every round
Handle offer discussions, counter-offers and pre-joining follow-up to reduce drop-offs
Update the ATS and position tracker daily, and share a daily status with your team lead
Meet weekly targets for submissions, interviews and closures

Positive to have
Experience in the Chennai automotive, engineering or manufacturing hiring market
Exposure to hiring for niche roles such as R&D;, embedded, EV or manufacturing leadership
Familiarity with AI-assisted sourcing and screening tools
Experience working on client SLAs and turnaround time (TAT) metrics

What success looks like in the first 90 days
Own 8-10 live positions with a steady submission-to-interview ratio
Close your first 3-5 positions within client TAT
Keep trackers accurate and updated every day
Education: B.Tech Degree; MBA/PGDM in HR is a plus.
