Role & responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced SAP PI/PO Developer & Configurator with strong expertise in designing, developing, and configuring integration solutions between SAP and non-SAP systems. The role requires SAP BTP Integration Suite skills for cloud migration/conversion projects and proficiency in file-based, API-based, OData, REST API, and other modern integration methods.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and configure integration scenarios using SAP PIPO.
• Migrate or convert existing PI/PO integrations to SAP BTP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration).
• Configure Integration Builder (Directory & Repository) for message mappings, routing, and adapters.
• Develop and maintain file-based integrations (FTP/SFTP, NFS).
• Implement API-based integrations using OData services, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services and IDoc-based interfaces
• Configure and optimize adapters (File, JDBC, RFC, SOAP, REST, SFTP, OData, HTTP).
• Work with SAP API Management on BTP to publish, secure, and monitor APIs.
• Implement event-driven integrations using SAP Event Mesh or Enterprise Messaging.
• Integrate SAP S/4HANA with external systems (ERP, CRM, banking etc.,).
• Develop message mappings (Graphical, Java, XSLT) and operation mappings.
• Configure alerting and monitoring in PI/PO and BTP Integration Suite.
• Knowledge of Opswise scheduler
• Collaborate with functional teams to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.




• Ensure compliance with SAP integration best practices and security standards.
• Prepare technical documentation and conduct knowledge transfer.

Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in SAP PI/PO development and configuration.
• Robust knowledge of Integration Builder (ESR & ID), Message Mapping (Graphical, Java, XSLT), Adapter configuration (File, RFC, SOAP, REST, JDBC, SFTP, OData) and Routing & Interface Determination
• Experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration).
• Proficiency in OData services and REST API development.
• Experience with SAP API Management for API publishing and governance.
• Knowledge of IDoc and RFC integration scenarios.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture using SAP Event Mesh.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
