Role & responsibilities

- Cost Analysis & Reporting: Developing and maintaining standard costs, analyzing raw materials, labor, and overhead costs, and preparing monthly reports
- Variance Analysis: Investigating discrepancies between actual and budgeted production costs to identify inefficiencies.
- Inventory Control: Monitoring inventory levels, reconciling physical inventory, and managing inventory reserves.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assisting in creating annual budgets and forecasting fixed/variable expenses.
- Process Improvement: Partnering with operational teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders for smooth financial operations.
- Assist in statutory and internal audits by providing required documentation and resolving audit queries.

Preferred candidate profile





- Technical know-how in MS Office Suite, VB, Power tools / Work experience in S4 Hana is essential,
- Familiarity in cost accounting, cost audit & reporting tools is preferred and basic understanding of accounting standards and taxation rules.
- Preferably from the Printing & Packaging or manufacturing industry.
- Strong foundational knowledge in accounting principles and journal entries
- Good working knowledge of Income Tax, TDS, and GST
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)
- Valuable analytical and numerical skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work independently on routine tasks and escalate issues appropriately
- Strong team collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to manage workload efficiently and meet deadlines
- Ethical conduct and data confidentiality
