Position Overview:

We are looking for Tele-Collection Specialists to join our Finance team. You will contact customers by phone to recover overdue dues, reduce delinquency, and resolve invoicing and tax-related queries. If you have collections experience at an NBFC or collection agency and are comfortable with high call volumes, negotiation, and recovery targets, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

● Make outbound calls to customers with overdue accounts and follow up on dues based on assigned buckets and DPD (Days Past Due).

● Understand reasons for non-payment and secure clear Promise-to-Pay (PTP) commitments.

● Follow up on PTPs to convert them into actual collections.

● Negotiate payment plans, part-payments, and settlements within company policy.

● Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly collection targets.

● Guide customers on invoicing and tax grievances, including invoice discrepancies, GST-related queries, and corrections,



and coordinate with internal teams for resolution.

● Maintain and manage accurate customer and collections data in the CRM and MIS, with proper call notes and dispositions.

● Escalate disputes, skip cases, and non-contactable customers to the team leader or field collections.

Qualification:

Education

● Graduate in any discipline (B.Com / BBA preferred).

Experience

● Minimum 2 years in telecollections or field collections at an NBFC, Fintech, Credit Agency or Collection agency.

● Working knowledge of invoicing, taxation, and GST processes.

● Experience in data handling and reporting (MS Excel, CRM, or dialer systems).

Skills

● Strong communication and negotiation skills in English, Hindi, and a regional language (Kannada/Tamil/Telugu preferred).

● Understanding of collection buckets, DPD, PTP, and recovery processes.

● Ability to explain invoice and tax matters clearly to customers.

● Ability to handle pressure and target-driven work with integrity and empathy.
