Senior Backend, Cloud & Security Engineer (Part-time Contract)
Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India - 100% remote

Fertiva Pro is building an AI clinical platform for fertility and women's health clinics across India, with voice-based consultation documentation in 22 Indian languages. The product is built and moving into live clinic use. They are looking for a senior engineer to own the foundation: architecture, cloud, database and security.

What you'll do

- Review the architecture and codebase, and set the technical direction
- Lead the migration to AWS (India region), with CI/CD, monitoring and backups
- Own backend design and database migrations (NestJS, Prisma, PostgreSQL)
- Build DPDP Act security controls and prepare the platform for an external security audit
- Review code and mentor the Founding Full-Stack Engineer

What you'll need





- 10+ years in software engineering, with 5+ years in Node.js/TypeScript backends
- Strong PostgreSQL and hands-on AWS production experience
- At least one production migration led without data loss
- Practical application and infrastructure security experience

Positive to have: healthcare or regulated data experience, VAPT or ISO 27001 audits, AWS Bedrock or other AI services in production.

Engagement

- Part-time contract, 100% remote (India)
- About 8-10 hours a week
- INR 1,250-1,500 per hour, based on experience
- Initial 3 months, renewable
