Role Description: This full-time, on-site Professor of Finance role is based at Amity University’s campus in Mohali district, Punjab. The Professor will design and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate finance courses, develop curricula aligned with current industry practices, and ensure high-quality classroom and experiential learning. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lectures and case studies, supervising student projects and dissertations, mentoring learners on academic and career pathways, and evaluating student performance through assessments. The role involves conducting independent and collaborative research in finance and related areas,



publishing in reputable journals, and contributing to seminars, conferences, and academic committees. The Professor will also engage with industry partners, support accreditation and quality initiatives, and participate actively in departmental and university-wide academic activities. Qualifications
• Strong academic and practical expertise in Finance and Corporate Finance, with the ability to teach advanced topics and apply them to real-world business problems.
• Proficiency in Accounting concepts and practices relevant to financial reporting, analysis, and corporate decision-making.
• Solid foundation in Economics to explain market behavior, macroeconomic trends, and their impact on financial systems and corporate strategy.
• Proven Research skills, including designing studies, applying quantitative or qualitative methods, and publishing in peer-reviewed journals.
• Doctoral degree (PhD) in Finance or a closely related field from a premier institution.
• Experience in curriculum development, outcome-based education, and use of contemporary pedagogical tools and learning technologies.
• Evidence of scholarly publications, conference presentations, and participation in academic or professional bodies related to finance and economics.
• Strong communication, mentoring, and classroom management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse academic community.
• Industry exposure or consulting experience in finance or corporate sectors is an advantage.
