About the Job: At MOR Design Studio, we believe that great design goes beyond aesthetics. Every space has a story to tell, and our approach is centred around transforming spaces into meaningful experiences through thoughtful design, creativity, and craftsmanship. As we continue to grow our narrative-driven architecture and interior design practice, we are looking for a Senior Interior Designer with exceptional design sensibility, strong technical expertise, and the ability to independently lead projects from concept development to execution. We’re not looking for someone who simply creates layouts and renders. We’re looking for a designer who can think beyond references, develop unique design narratives, challenge conventional ideas, make informed design decisions, and take complete ownership of a project.

Key Responsibilities
• Independently lead residential and commercial interior design projects from concept development through execution and handover.
• Develop distinctive design concepts, narratives, mood boards, material palettes, furniture selections, and detailed design presentations.
• Translate client requirements, lifestyles, and aspirations into thoughtful and functional design solutions.
• Prepare and review space planning, 3D visualisations, detailed working drawings, and material specifications.
• Demonstrate strong design thinking through proportions, materials, colours, textures, lighting, and spatial experiences.
• Present design concepts confidently to clients, manage feedback, and drive design approvals.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, vendors,



contractors, and site execution teams to ensure design intent is maintained.
• Review technical drawings, furniture detailing, BOQs, material specifications, and execution feasibility.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor design implementation and resolve design-related challenges.
• Mentor junior designers, review their deliverables, and maintain the studio's design standards.
• Take ownership of project timelines, design deliverables, client communication, coordination, and approvals. What we are looking for:

Experience:
4–8+ years in interior design, preferably with premium residential, villa, or commercial projects.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating original design thinking, creative concepts, technical detailing, and successfully executed projects.
• Excellent understanding of materials, finishes, furniture detailing, lighting, modular systems, and execution methodologies.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and relevant 3D visualisation and presentation software.
• Ability to develop concepts independently rather than relying entirely on existing references.
• Strong understanding of architectural detailing,



construction techniques, and site execution.
• Excellent communication, client presentation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables without compromising design quality.
