Data Analyst – Power BI & SQL

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team and work with a US-based healthcare client. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Power BI and SQL, with the ability to transform complex datasets into meaningful insights, build interactive dashboards, and deliver accurate business reports. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand reporting requirements, maintain data quality, and ensure reliable delivery of analytical solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze data.
- Develop and manage data models using Power BI.
- Work extensively with DAX and Power Query for data transformation and calculations.
- Translate business requirements into meaningful reports and actionable insights.
- Troubleshoot dashboard refresh issues, reporting errors, and data quality problems.
- Validate datasets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
- Maintain proper documentation of reports, data sources, calculations, and business rules.
- Communicate analytical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Required Qualifications & Skills




- Minimum 5+ years of skilled experience in Data Analytics or Business Intelligence.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI.
- Advanced knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
- Strong SQL skills, including complex joins, advanced queries, and data validation.
- Experience developing and maintaining business dashboards and analytical reports.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with international teams.

Working Hours
Monday – Friday | 8 Hours per Day
- US Time Zone: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM CST
- India Time Zone: 7:00 PM – 4:00 AM IST This is a night-shift role requiring availability during US business hours. Important Job Expectations

- Candidates must be able to explain their daily work, progress, and completed tasks to the employer.
- Clear documentation and communication are essential requirements for this position.
