Key Responsibilities
Project Intake & Coordination
- Serve as the single point of contact for all project requests coming from the various US marketing divisions, replacing ad hoc requests to individual designers or developers with one controlled intake process.
- Gather complete requirements, assets, and approvals from US stakeholders before work is assigned, catching gaps before they become downstream delays.
- Route, prioritize, and assign incoming projects to the appropriate India team member(s) based on scope, skill set, and available capacity. Project Planning & Management
- Build and maintain project plans, timelines, and status trackers for all active work, and proactively flag risks to deadlines.
- Manage capacity and workload across graphic designers, web developers, and marketing admin staff to prevent bottlenecks and burnout.
- Run regular check-ins with the India team and status updates with US stakeholders to keep both sides aligned on progress and priorities. Communication & Expectation Management
- Own communication between the US marketing divisions and the India team, translating priorities, feedback, and business context in both directions.
- Set and manage realistic expectations with US stakeholders on turnaround times,



revision cycles, and capacity constraints.
- Proactively identify and close communication and time-zone gaps, rather than waiting for missed handoffs to surface as problems. Quality Control & Proofing
- Conduct thorough proofing of all content, design, and copy deliverables prior to submission to US stakeholders checking grammar, messaging accuracy, brand consistency, design fidelity, and overall fluency and appropriateness for a US audience (idiom, tone, cultural nuance, and formatting conventions).
- Maintain and enforce quality checklists and standards so proofing is consistent regardless of who is on a given project.
- Partner with US marketing leads to close the loop on recurring quality issues and build fixes into the team's working process. Team Supervision
- Directly supervise and support graphic designers, web developers, and marketing administrative staff based in India.
- Provide day-to-day guidance, feedback, and performance management; support hiring and onboarding as the India team grows.
- Foster a team-oriented team culture and support the professional development of direct reports.
