In this role, you will act as the strategic bridge between our organization and partner insurers. You will be responsible for line-of-business (LOB) growth, product/plan integrations, Annual Operating Plan (AOP) delivery, day-to-day operations, and partner account profitability.

Key Responsibilities

- Regularly audit live insurance products for feature accuracy, pricing precision, and regulatory/underwriting updates.

4. Account Profitability & Portfolio Management

- Monitor and manage unit economics, commission structures, loss ratios, and partner margins to ensure account profitability.

- Analyze portfolio performance across parameters like persistency, renewal rates, claim settlement rates, and ticket sizes.

- Negotiate commercial terms, payouts, and exclusive product offerings with insurance partners alongside senior management.

5. Operational Excellence & Support

- Oversee day-to-day operational workflows, including policy issuance, endorsements, cancellation requests, and claim escalations.

- Streamline operations between partner underwriters and internal operations to minimize drop-offs and improve turn-around times (TAT).

- Ensure strict adherence to IRDAI (or local regulatory authority) guidelines, compliance standards, and internal risk policies.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Revenue & Volume: Achievement of Monthly/Quarterly/Annual AOP targets for assigned insurer accounts.

Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Commerce, or related fields (MBA preferred).

- Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience in insurance operations, account management, or category management in an Insurtech, Broker, Web Aggregator, or Health Insurance company.

- Domain Expertise: Thorough practical knowledge of Health Insurance operations,

medical underwriting processes, MER workflows, endorsement rules, and claims processing (Cashless & Reimbursement).

- Technical & Data Skills: Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or reporting tools (Tableau/PowerBI) to track daily issuance metrics, funnel drops, and operational dashboards.
