Accurate Legal Billing is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Appeals Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in billing appeals, e-billing, legal billing, or a related field. This role involves managing rejected or reduced invoices, preparing appeal narratives, tracking recovery progress, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and improve recovery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage billing appeals for rejected, disputed, or reduced invoices.
- Review billing entries, invoice details, and client billing guidelines to identify discrepancies.
- Prepare clear, accurate, and well-supported appeal narratives to recover rejected or reduced amounts.
- Monitor appeal progress, maintain trackers, and follow up on pending appeals.
- Identify recurring billing issues and assist with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Billing, Accounts Receivable (AR), AI, and Compliance teams to resolve billing-related issues.
- Maintain accurate appeal documentation and records.
- Prepare reports on appeal status, recovery performance, and outstanding cases.
- Ensure compliance with client-specific billing guidelines and internal processes.

Qualifications and Requirements





- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in billing appeals, legal billing, e-billing, invoice management, or a related field.
- Strong written communication and documentation skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and maintaining reports or trackers.
- Familiarity with legal e-billing platforms and invoice rejection management.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to work in a US night shift.
