Senior Manager – Travel Retail

Job Purpose

To lead and manage Almond House airport retail operations across Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, and other outlets, driving sales growth, operational excellence, profitability, and a superior customer experience while maintaining brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Retail Operations: Oversee daily operations across all airport outlets, ensuring adherence to SOPs, brand standards, and operational excellence.
- Sales & Profitability: Drive sales targets, revenue growth, outlet profitability, and cost optimization.
- Airport Coordination: Liaise with airport authorities, concessionaires, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and compliance with airport requirements.
- Inventory Management: Ensure product availability, timely replenishment, stock accuracy, and effective control of wastage and expiry.
- Team Leadership: Manage and develop store managers and frontline teams, ensuring effective manpower planning and performance.
- Customer Experience: Maintain high service standards, address customer escalations, and implement initiatives to improve customer satisfaction.
- Compliance & Hygiene: Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, statutory requirements,



and airport operating guidelines.
- Performance Reporting: Monitor outlet-wise KPIs, sales performance, operating costs, and profitability; provide regular reports to management.
- Business Development: Identify opportunities to improve sales, product assortment, merchandising, and overall business performance.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Hospitality, Commerce, or a related field. An MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.

Experience & Skills

- 8–15 years of experience in retail operations, preferably in multi-location retail management.
- Experience in airport retail, travel retail, food retail, confectionery, or hospitality retail is preferred.
- Solid leadership, commercial acumen, analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Willingness to travel regularly across Hyderabad, Vizag, and Chennai.

Key Performance Indicators

Sales growth, outlet profitability, inventory control, customer satisfaction, team productivity, and compliance with operational standards.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
