Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js.
- Build RESTful APIs and microservices with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and support CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise existing applications.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical discussions and design reviews.
- Technical Skills (Mandatory):
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture.
- Experience with databases: MongoDB and/or SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
- Knowledge of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture.
- Experience with version control systems (Git).
- Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, and AWS cloud platform.
- Good to Have:
- Experience with message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
- Exposure to TypeScript.
- Knowledge of system design and performance optimisation.
- Prior experience working in telecom or large enterprise applications.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
