HiveNestHQ, a growing UAE-based startup, is hiring a Software Tester for our Calicut office.

We’re looking for someone with practical skills in manual and automation testing to help deliver reliable web and mobile applications. You’ll work closely with developers to identify issues, verify fixes, and improve software quality.

Key responsibilities

- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications across browsers and devices.
- Create, maintain, and run automated test scripts.
- Review requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and usability testing.
- Report bugs with clear reproduction steps, expected results, and supporting screenshots.
- Verify fixes and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
- Document test results and communicate testing progress.

Required skills

- Practical knowledge of manual and automation testing.




- Familiarity with at least one automation tool, such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
- Understanding of software testing processes and the bug lifecycle.
- Ability to write clear test cases and bug reports.
- Solid attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred skills

- Experience testing ERP systems and business workflows.
- API testing experience using tools such as Postman.
- Basic SQL knowledge for validating data.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking tools such as Jira.
